Beautiful looks and sound, 4 6550 valves providing 50W per channel in Ultralinear mode, but I found it even better in Triode mode with little or no feedback. Feedback can be adjusted with a switch on the back. Autobiasing so no worries there. Comes with 4 GEC 6550 valves - worth something like £300-£400 by themsleves. And Mullard ECC82 & 88 input valves. Its also had £500 of modifications at Definitive Audio. It sounds great - very sweet but clear and not over warm or fuzzy. I'm selling after long deliberation.... just not convinced about its suitability for my Tannoy D700s which have very low impedence in the bass. The mk2 version of this amp - which is the same with more chrome on the bodywork - costs around £4k new. I'm selling this for £1k As I don't have the original box it will have to be picked up or delivered/half-way meet in person but I'm willing to drive a few hours to enable this. This goes very well with the Music First TVC I am also selling.
