Not the newer model, the older model. These are about 8 years old,and in good condition, with the odd mark or two (a small varnish blister is at the top of one of them). They are stunnign speakers, and I have been forced to sell them by my wife, who will pay for this outrage one day (I will buy the wrong tea bags on purpose, make her drink PG Tips for a week, somehting like that)

will be picking new speakers up in the new year, and I really can't be arsed with Ebay

'how much to post to the Artic'

    'will you accept luncheon vouchers'

'my brother the Archbishop would like these, would you take Western Union'

    etc etc

    so £300,for a £1750 pair of speakers

one tweeter cover has a small indent, caused by me,which a dealer said dont bother with, its only aesthetics.£20 to pop a new one on,but i have never bothered transporting the thing in (its only 3mil across and its only the small cover in the centre anyway)

will go on Ebay for £250 starting price if no one is interested here

Not a lot on the web about these speakers, but Martin Collums has reviewed them

    http://www.audiophysic.de/info/halloffame/pdf/bright_spark.pdf

this is them in spare room in current digs

Wow great price, someone must want these, bloody bargain.

Good to see you got your sounds sorted before you'd fully moved in, man with the right priorities.

BTW keep the speakers and sell the wife, could put her on ebay with a £300 starting price.

lol, yeah, missus is happy for now,but she won't be when she discovers i have bought a 23" tele for the kitchen (well, what the f**k,£50 a month interest free, nowt really)

    Tim,

Im in Wakefield,a trip down the M6 aint bad.w/c the 3rd January ok

£300 for these is a bargain, you will be stunned at bwhat you get for the money, its only because I need my testicles to survive into the new year i am letting them go at all

can you suggest a service station or the like?

Sounds fine... I'll probably post you a cheque earlier than this (so it clears) or pay cash. The_Great_TJF at Hotmail.com if you want to email me. Christmas is pretty busy so I don't always get chance to read stuff immediatly... but I will be buying so don't worry. We'll sort out travel arangements when I've had chance to look at where I'm going. I have a friend in Nottingham who may be able to help me out.

    Thanks, Tim
