Selling a mint example of ARC CD-7 with the factory CD-8 power supply upgrade fitted (replacing two 6H30 tubes with a single 5881).
Sonicwise, the player is very difficoult to tell apart from the £10.000 CD-8 (assuming the the CD-8 power supply upgrade is fitted). It should come as no surprise, as the only difference between the two players, is a different DAC chipset (Crystal vs BurrBrown, both chips are 24/192) and different coupling caps. Other than that, the CD-7 and CD-8 are identical !
Comes with the original factory double box and packing, remote control handset, detachable IEC AC power cord and manual.
£3300 ono.
