Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a spare earth cap for my 8000 p rca input? Was missing when i bought it. They have a common fault of pulling out with tight interconnects.

you can make one easily from a cheap rca plug ....
can remember if it grounds the centre pin or not ...if yes just bend the cheap cable clamp onto the centre pin .

    re

Thanks, might give it a whirl.

Was thinking of replacing my spk cables and connects, Changing from my oddysey to some homebrew copper.

The upper mid/treble is a little bright for my liking, was hoping it might calm it down a little.

I run mf 3.2s at the mo,
homebrew pure silver strand from cd,
    anthems from pre to powers.

Could you give me any advice?

Yeh move your speakers and try room treatments rather than wanking money off on cables that don't actually affect the frequency response.

Only spent 40 quid on cables in the last 6 years, spent more on a years worth of bog roll to 'wank' into.
