    Hi Guys.Gals,
    Jakthelad here,just joined,A general thread re: the legendary brit made amps
    there are allways a few on various online sites/hi-fi mags and i wonder how
    much should be paid for them,depending on the condition,for example would
    £400 be too much for a '90s 8000c/8000p?

    I recently bought an 8000s on ebay for under £200 and it was a nice,clean example,but others look like theyve been dropped,stamped on and used fro
    graffiti training!

    Good stuff Audiolab.
    Certainly in the case of the integrated 8000A version it got better with time so the same is likely with the pre and power amps.

    Serial numbers end with a letter and I think reached 'F'.
