I'm selling my personal DEQ2496. I have two units that I've been using at home and I only really need one now so selling this one which is about 5 years old.
I has had a lot of work done on it:
Power supply totally re-capped with the best spec Panasonic capacitors I could find. So although 5 years old, the PSU is like new and should last well.
New analog output stage fitted to replace the original one. Based on Analog Devices SSM parts. Distortion is much lower than original and provides a transformer-like floating output.
Analog volume control fitted to front panel (buffered by new output stage).
New analog input stage fitted to replace standard one. Based on Texas Instruments OPA1632 parts. Distortion and noise are much lower than original.
Top painted matt black, high gloss side cheeks added.
