19th sounds ok to me... what time?

I'll bring the modded CD16 and the superDAC. Shall I bring the DEQ for playing with room EQ?

hello folks,

count me in please. i promise to express only polite surprise if anything as ear opening as the transport comparisson (chez Lordsummit) :) occurs

I have told the NOS it can only come if it behaves itself this time :D

will discuss transport arrangements with Isaac.

Thinking around 7ish but happy to work round others.

I would be interested in what the DEQ can do, if your'e happy to bring it. I'll start making room for the CD16 and Dac's and what ever else turns up.

Chris feel free to express yourself however you wish at mine.

Tone - bring a sleeping bag or some bedding and no problems. You have the choice between the sofa or the fold-out Z bed.

Can I invite myself along as well please....

I've been doing stupid hours at work for the last 4 weeks, and could do with some listening reward for all my efforts. Rob - I'll have a chat with you about ringing ears too, if you want... ;)

Shame i can't make it i have to go to Liverpool on an inspection. It would of given me a chance to hear the nos dac/super dac again and the dac64

Great idea and a nice display of hospitality. Too far for me to travel though.

Anyone want to run something like this (using any equipment), in the Herts, Beds or Bucks region?

hmm i'm only 70miles away from this.

any chance of popping along? i could bring my Vaessens if you wanted?

I think for an evening bake-off it's best not to have too much kit involved in order to leave time for the obligatory chatting, listening to tunes, etc. Certainly I think if tone is bringing toys and we're having round 2 of the DACs then the DEQ would swallow too much time so I'll leave it.

Rory, sure tag along, 140mile round trip shows dedication. As for your speakers are they fussy about setup? Isaac, what is you opinion on adding speakers to the line up from a time POV? Dean (SDIB) is bringing his dac64 BTW.

Shame about the DEQ, would have been useful but I agree there is a lot going on already, I guess it takes a bit of setting up.

There will be seven of us now (been a bit more successful than expected) and in the interest of not becoming sardines will have to close the invite now, sorry to any last minuters but I'm sure there will be another soon.

WM are you (can you) bring that device of yours that shaved the cd edges? It sounds curious.

So, Chris and Chris want to meet up at my place and head over together?
yes please - if there's room in the car with WM and all the kit.

What time? PM me with your address, I know roughly where you are.

Agree about not including DEQ this time round - is supect it's an evening's listening in itself. And I'm particularly interested in the DAC gluttony that's on the menu....

And I haven't listened to ESLs for decades :)
