The new series of The Apprentice starts new Tuesday on BBC1 at 9pm :D

The sixteen candidates will not compete for a job this time around. Instead, the candidates will compete for a cash investment of £250k from Sir Alan Sugar which the winner will use to start their own business :)

Thanks

He really likes those fruit and veg games doesn't he. I remember he did that in the early apprentice. The altruism in me doesn't like the kind of people Alan Sugar looks for in an apprentice.

Hi,

Been enjoying the series so far. So interesting people are starting to appear.

Edna Agbarha looks value for money on the entertainment front. She comes across as a "I know best" character and almost coming a cropper on a times. What has saved her is that the female team has won twice.

Leon Doyle has been in the boardroom twice. He made a mess of the juicing of the oranges in the 1st task and was team leader in the 2nd task.

Jim Eastwood has haggled a few good deals and save the day during a sales pitch. He does come across as a confident talker. He managed to get Leon to change his mind on taking him into the boardroom.

The two that have been fired seem to be the right decisions.

Oh I'm not watching it either, I don't have a TV. I did watch some of the older ones though. Now time to watch Dr.Who on iPlayer lol.

Hi,

I enjoy watching these so called "perfect people" coming a cropper.

Good entertainment.

good rubbish on this show, maybe one day we will see real people with a goal to achieve with in their own devices.

While I kind of like the programme, the simplistic nature of the "business" exercises is irritating, generally only revolving around cost to produce v sales price and occasionally if really imaginative a budget v high end positioning decision. Sadly real life in a job equivalent to the winner's has many more dimensions. I know there's only so much you can fit into a made-for-TV hour, but for all the posturing, rhetoric and City backdrop these are average graduate job assessment centre exercises.

I love this show and myself and the other half are completely addicted to it. I just adore the sheer 'corporate bullshit' factor of it. I used to work in big corporate business and have seen so many of these pillocks come and go. I just love it, it is so funny.
