I have around 1,000+ CD's (mostly classical) that I want to rip onto a music server.

Can anybody suggest a suitable music server for under £1K? I've been looking at the Cocktail Audio Pro X100, Any thoughts on that kit?

I have a DEON CEOL N9 music hifi in my living room, so I would like whatever music server I get to work with that.

    TIA

Yep, I think the idea of a Synology NAS is probably a good one - you'll be able to use it for backups from your PC, etc... too. There is a built in music server, as well as a few additional plugins.
