    just found amongst my vynils that great lay's music,1957 verve recording, writing a liner note about BILLIE HOLIDAY can, curiously, be the most effortless thing in the world, and at the same time the most difficult because you're apt to MISS HOLIDAY'S talents, this indeed is a great great masterpiece, glad i found it, now plying,

    Indeed. I'm of the opinion that Amy Winehouse was a fan, also. She was my modern little Billie Holiday.
