Glad I did the roof insulation on the weekend!

And no, the zafira isn't mine, it's a hire car for a trip south tomorrow, and it's rubbish. 1200 miles on the clock and it's got more trim rattles than my car...

Its a Vauxhall, a product of Genetical Modified motors what do you expect? :p

Its not snowed once here, it is freezing bloody cold though.

What is sad is on that picture there is a Vuaxhall Saferia, Peogeout 206, sportia Corsa and a Ford Ka. In fact it looks like there are two Ford Ka's.

Its bloody freezing here, but no snow (being by the coast, we never get any). Had a brief flurry of flakes for about 2 minutes on Saturday, then it turned to sleet :(

What's sad about that?

Or did you mean it was sad that you pointed it out? :D

As always, whilst the rest of the country gets a bit of dusting or a bit more, there's nothing worth writing about down in the depths of the south-west. Had the occassonal sleet flurry yesterday afternoon which were far too weak to causing any kind of settling. :)

6 a.m. at the local recreation ground. Two dogs having wonderful time. The puppy (now 16 months) only saw snow briefly last winter. This time there was a couple of inches on the ground and she was leaping through the long grass like a gazelle. A joy to be out this morning :)

Hi,

Had a bit of snow around South Yorkshire. It has fallen in fits & spurts. People in the high ground have had it worst. The Snake Pass has been shut but I think it's open again.

I had lunch at the beach on Sunday. Blue skies, sun and 20degC....and it's still winter here

Michael.

Fancy a swop! You'll love the cold.

two mile drive to the station this morning across thick virgin snow in a Lotus Elise which weighs about the same as a packet of crisps (but is less robust in a crash) was the most sphincter tightening experience I've had in a long time  there was one stretch where all I could do was lurch out from the kerb then drift back into it repeatedly - there go my alloys...

In the frozen wastelands up here in the west very little snow, like icing sugar dusted on a cake, but about 6-10" in the east. Although we are still cpable of driving in it upo here.

Billy Connoly reckons Aberdeen is Gaelic for hypothermia, the difference between them, aberdeen is cheaper than iceland, the women are uglier, but easier too.:) Unc if you think Aberdeen is boring, just as well you never went to Dundee. :)
