I sent my Rotel RCD955 to have a new clock and opamps fitted to
    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/p.beard...ods/index.html
A guy called Leo does all the work and very helpful he is too. Now Unfortunately the Rotel met with an accident and was damaged beyond repair so I sent him my rcd 965 which is a bitstream player and he made the same mods for me.I have to say the end result has been worth the long wait as its like a I have a new CDP better bass ,separation and clarity. I am very pleased with it so much so i told him I'd talk up his service in the various forums I visit. His prices are also very reasonable. Now i am thinking of having my amp done as well

So you have sent it to Australia ?? I guess the first CDP met an accident after it had arrived back from them? What exactly did they do - power regulation, clock or opamp?

Of course not . Bursons are based in Australia but Audiomods, who are their UK agents, fit them over here.

I had the clock(http://www.bursonaudio.com/) mailed to me and Leo from Audiomods fitted it for me together with various other parts. The result was well worth it
