He wasn't as funny as Ranieri though.
Yeah you could say he was a /is a character and the game does need them. I'm a Liverpool fan and I despised the b*****d for his ingraciousness in defeat and his inability to concede when a pen certainly isn't oneI think he did quite well, won the league twice didn't he? Plenty of cash at other European clubs, doesn't mean they're automatically guaranteed of winning anything. I'm not a Chelsea fan but I think that quantity of funding made available to the club doesn't necessarily make things simple, especially if the owner/directors think that money = instant success and they're giving the manager a hard time if the team doesn't deliver every single time. I'm sorry to be seeing him on his way tbh, there's not many managers I look forward to hearing comments from, he was often very entertaining, he's a character, which is good.
Sorry but with the cash he's had to spend he should have done better. Good ridance IMO.
I wonder if there'll be an exodus from the team now?
Wish he'd left last year when it all started going sour at Chelsea, and then took the England job.
The only good thing about it is that there surely isn't a bigger total w**nker in the world than Peter Kenyon so it was good to see him squirming and suffering in yesterdays press conference.
