Firmly placed in the top of range Artis series, the L'Ocean represents Cabasse commitment to Spacial Coherence Systems with this all new fully digital version.
latest member of the Artis range of loudspeakers, combines elegant aesthetic design with a performance that is beyond expectations and guaranteed to please music lovers. Utilising the TC23 3-way coaxial drive unit from the flagship La Sphére, together with a new 38cm honeycomb dome diaphragm woofer and 2,250 watts of digital amplification per speaker, L'Océan can reach sound pressure levels of 117dB with no distortion.
Each loudspeaker is fitted with a phase linear digital filter, which optimises the frequency response thanks to precise and variable cross-over slopes (up to 94 dB per octave) and an accurate time alignment to create a true point source system.
Bringing together the acoustic expertise of Cabasse and the excellence in electronics, industrial processes and digital signal processing of parent company Canon, has enabled Cabasse to produce, for the first time, a fully digital intelligent system. L'Océan represents a masterpiece and another significant milestone in Cabasse's strategy and quest for excellence.
