Cables again

Fwiw, brca, I remeber wondering the same thing many moons ago.

I wonder where that saying came from? since we only have one!

Whereas I have loads of cables... they're lovely, they make all my Hi-Fi "sing". I used to have a VDH carbon interconnect which I thought was an interesting alternative for signals to travel down from the usual copper/silver wire. I wonder what the design thoughts were for this?

I'd like to remind everyone of the result of this poll. Like others, I have little doubt about where this thread will go, so please ensure you are thick skinned if you wish to enter this debate.

The anti cable lobby are being a bit slow here....??

(pete was it some thing you said?)

;)

i find if i unplug all my cables, the noise floor drops dramatically. I might just leave it that way.

One thing i do know for sure.... all cables sound the same when they aint plugged in.

For some reason the main anti protagonist seem to have disappeared or changed there names ??

Actually the main source of reason on the subject has been lying on beaches and diving with exotic marine life - spending the money some misguided nut jobs might reserve for connecting up their inadequate hifis. It's called having a life ;)
