It uses a SONY mech, and is smooth and silent in operation. Machine works well and has practically every kind of output you could wish.
It even has balanced digital, and a proper BNC output too.
I will throw in a BNC-RCA converter so you can use a standard coax digital cable (as i have been doing)
There is no remote, but if you have a logitech learning remote, the codes are on the website for the CA.
