I came second in that Bel Canto auction. I don't know whether to say sorry, or thanks. I never bought one, (couldn't find a dealer where I could listen and compare) and am now waiting and waiting and waiting for Consonance to ship their tube amp with an onboard DAC. I just get the feeling sometimes that if you want to do anything in audio slightly different from the mainstream it's always so painful. Having said that I've bought and sold on Ebay before and done well.
