Hello all!
I was recently given a pair of celestion 15xr's but unfortunatly the tweeters have gone on them.
I would love to get these up and running but replacing the tweeters will cost about £50 (with either old replacments or modern equivilent in the form of a morel tweeters)
From what I have read am I right in thinking that even if I replace the tweeters they still won't sound identical as each tweeter has been litrally "built fot the box" and matched to the other components?
Second hand I can pick up a same pair for probably around about the same cost as replacing the old so I'm thinking of doing this.
Any comments?
