Cloverleaf connector

Looking to replace the throwaway mains cable that came with my Meridian F80 with something a little better and was wondering if anyone knows if or where you can get hold of a cloverleaf connector (IEC 320 C5)? I know Russ Andrews do an adaptor but I'd prefer if possible not to use that method.

If so how much work would it be to mod the case to accept the more usual IEC (kettle type) socket? I can only find non-rewirable clover-leaf cables at Farnell!
