Convert a panasonic SB-WA692 home theater sub for computer speaker sub???

I have this sub and was wondering if this was at all possible or just a crazy waste of time. I was hoping to use passive book shelf speakers along with this sub to create a nice sounding little set up. I do not have the 25 pin connector but will track one down if needed for this hack. I am real good with soldering and working from schematics just need some help to figure out how to do this if possible. Thank you for any help.
