Two circuits were recently developed for the BehringerMods website, primarily intended for the DEQ, DCX and SRC units to improve the performance of the Analog inputs and outputs.

These circuits have now been made available on their own (ready populated PCBs). As well as the Behringer units, these can be used to upgrade any DAC and ADC that have a differential voltage output / input.

The output circuit has a floating output that can offer the noise rejection of a balanced connection over a single-ended line. It also has 118dB signal to noise and 0.00005% distortion.

The input circuit has an onboard voltage reference to provide bias for ADCs. It has 123dB signal to noise and 0.00005% distortion. This PCB can actually be used for DAC outputs too, if you remove the voltage reference and don't want a floating output.

I've had access to a £22,000 audio testing system to develop and tune these circuits, so I can promise that they are as good as stated.

Please have a read of the updated website - www.behringermods.com

After these upgrades are fitted, the DEQ makes a damn fine ADC / DAC / Room Correction / Pre-amp :)
