Define insult for me please Michael

In the afterglow of your latest bit of modding, Michael, would you be so kind as to give some guidelines as to what you consider an insult?

You see, I consider a number of the terms employed on a daily basis on this forum to be both insulting and personal, if not to me then to someone else I know.

So for the future, could you clarify? Is are the terms, deaf, stupid,gullible and foolish considered to be insults? If not why?

Any help in understanding the method in the madness appreciated!

I'm not going to do that. You know that's impossible. There are obviously grey areas but IMO referring to someone's rational and well argued post as "the most self opinionated, egotistical piece of crap I have ever read on here" qualifies.

Your post is clearly an attempt to stir things and this thread can only end in tears so I'm going to close it. If you don't like the moderating style you don't have to post here.
