Pretty damn small overall; the CDX2 uses the newer 'Reference' series casework rather than the 'Olive' case; it also uses a new motherboard layout and BurrBrown PCM1704 dac rather than the PCM1702.

The gem is the 3. Way better value than the new 555 reference.
