Good morning I am very new to this. I have started collecting hi-fi over at the past 12 months. I have a pair of KEF LS 50 Meta speakers which I like but I have been offered a straight swap from my friend as he is moving house and needs small speakers the speakers he is wanting to swap are Monitor Audio Gold 60 Floors-standing Speakers which are quite old I think they are 2006 do you think this is a good swap? I have listened to them and really like them on my system. any advice would be brilliant, thank you.

My friend used to have a pair and they are very good if you like a brighter detailed sound. Plus they may create bass boom being so much bigger. I would recommend living with them for a weekend or longer before agreeing a permanent swap.
