SMEagol
Because we wants it...
It doesn't get hot, and sounds fab on start up amazing after 2 hours. Weighs about 80lbs, integrated dual mono, valve mosfet hybrid. Philips JAN 6922 tubes.
Has a nice metal remote, and even an mm phonostage* *not tried this yet!
It currently sells over here for between £2500 and £2800 (2009 prices), the LSA Standard version which lacks the cool looking chassis handles. LSA bought out DK Design. Loads of suggested tweeking if you look on the net. But frankly sounds incredible. Includes a pair of balanced inputs along with a few pairs of standard RCA inputs.
Sells secondhand on average over here for £1800.
2006 Review further below!
GENUINE REASON FOR SALE poorly car, shes leaking more oil than the Exxon Valdiz, and a few other tweeks and a service needed (she is 23), but I still love her!

Any sensible over over £1000 considered.
Bolton based, can meet halfway, will not post! Original box and instructions, very sorry to see it go, but needs must. Please don't "nerd me" about provenance and its DNA as I don't know, but it looks/sounds mint. Nice bloke selling a nice amp, come and have a listen over a boaster biscuit and a brew.
As Stereo Times said about its predecessor... This very well-built 150-watt per channel (into 8-Ohms) conservatively rated integrated boasts a staggering 800 watts at 1 Ohm sounds something special. Using a pair of 6922 in its input stage coupled with MOSFET and Bipolar output devices qualifies this design as a true hybrid. Its silky smooth operation and sound convinces me further. After extended listening sessions I would have to rate the VS-1 as one of the more musical amplifiers I've heard regardless of price! Build, fit and finish is no joke either at this price.
Pics to follow.
