What's the difference (listening wise I mean) between a dual mono amp & a stereo amp ?

Do you lose the 'stereo effect' when playing a dual mono ?

Just seen a Musical Fidelity A3.2 for sale & it's described as a 'dual mono' integrated. Can't see much in the way of reviews on this item - do you rate it guys ? Cheers.

In a dual mono design, the left and right signals are kept completely seperate from each other (no sharing of power supplies etc.)

It's basically like having a pair of mono blocks but in a single physical unit.

*This may be considered by some to be an oversimplification.

It's supposed to give better stereo effect since there is no sharing of left and right parts. It makes some sense, but I don't think it is anything to choose an amp by.
