Dummy load

    Bristol - armpit of the west.
    I will be needing to sort a 4ohm dummy load soonish.
    Will a cheap high wattage 4ohm resistor do the job or should i be looking for non-inductive types?

    yep a bog standard 4ohm power resistor will do nicely,and there cheap,wot ya up to? biasing some valve amps by any chance

    It'll be for voltage testing of valve power amp, dont wanna plugs me speakers in untill i know all is well.
    Not even bought the kit yet :rolleyes:
