Is this stuff OK for a valve pre-amp?

Need to deaden the casse on the grounded grid, seems good stuff for the job.
It is foil covered one side, will this protect it from heat?

Once its on, its on. You'll never get rid of it. So be careful when you place it.

As for its heat resistance, try looking up the website (I dont have the link to hand).

I dont think I'd try it with valves myself. I do have the boot of my car lined with it though.
