Dynaudio Contour 1.3SES. Rosewood, mint condition!

Guttingly, I have to sell on my 1.3SE contours just two weeks after buying them :( I bought them as an upgrade to my 1.1s, but after some extensive listening with various amps they are just too big and powerful for my listening room (only 8x12 foot).

I have tried them in a larger room and they trample my 1.1s in every way - superb resolution and imaging! Possibly Dynaudios best speaker?

They are in absolute mint condition, except for some small scratches on the bottom where the previous owner had them on spike supports. Over than that the rosewood cabinets are completley mint with no signs of damage or dropping. Apparently they had little use in a 2nd system. They come boxed complete with manual.

Asking for £870 plus £30 postage. R.R.P was £1850 so this a chance to buy a rare set of speakers at a good price. UK only interest for now please, I do not want to ship abroad unless absolutley necessary!

I have advertised these on zerogain aswell, is this ok mods?
 
Thanks for the interest prsjazz, but i'd rather keep this UK only for the time being... If I do not get any interest though I will be in touch!
 
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEE!!!! I really want these speakers. Its been such a long time since I have seen a pair. Anyway we can work this out?
 
Give it a couple of weeks mate and we'lll see what we can sort out if no one else if interested. I would require that they are sent via inusred courier with tracking, so the postage price will be rather high! Worth it IMO though, they are fantastic speakers.
 
I know! I had them.... then sold them. Ugh.... let me know. In the meantime I am still looking! (PS I am fine with your shipping method)
 
Yes I have heard other people doing the same and having regrets! What is in your system at the moment?
 
Currently I have a pair of 140's, Arcam A32, CD73, PS Audio DACIII, and Duet. I just miss that bump on the high end the 1.3se gave me.... :mad:

Yep a great amp I have since upgraded to an Exposure 23/28 combo. It's a better sound, but nowhere near double the price worth.

I still have both the LSI and 1.3SE (still unused). I recently backed out of a sale on the 1.3ses... I am planning on keep the them for when I get bigger place, they're fantastic speakers and difficult to find. However I have been out of work for 3 months now and job market is pretty grim around here, so watch this space!
