Emerald Physics CS2
Been reading up on these and they seem to do what I want.
They are open baffle (2 x 15" and compression driver")
They use a behringer 2496 for the xover!.
Can anyone see any problems or better still... listened to a pair (one of me mates had a brief listen at a show on his travels and said they were really good )
I want to feed a digital signal into the DAC and feed an analogue signal as well. I will probably ask Tenson to mod the 2496 (both analogue and digital) and possibly fit an analogue volume (which some u.s. peeps are doing).
I could just use the volume / limiters on the front of my MC 750's but I would like to try my 3.5watt valve amps on the compression drivers while feeding the bass / mids with an mc750 .....and the valve monos obviously have no volume vontrol
What do you think...............how will they compare to the Martin Logan vista's I have on loan ?......(I think these lack deep bass and I would like more dynamics!)
