Looking for an enclosure to stick my TT PSU in.
The hammond ones at maplin, the nice looking ones, arent big enough. The other maplin ones look pants.
    Any ideas on other places?

What size is the PSU? If you like the Hammond enclosures try this guy www.bluebellaudio.com who specialises in Hammond transformers and enclosures. I bought my phono stage transformer from him.

The hammond ones are, um, slightly too industrial ;)

What sort of size do you need? Farnell sell some very nice black-painted die-cast aluminium boxes at reasonable prices.

Isaac, i dont have exact dimensions on me. But around 8 x 8 x 3 inch would be fine. I know not a reg size but around that will be cool.
I couldnt find any nice on farnell, do you have a part number (i bet i missed 'em! )

Will this PSU run hot? If not, how about a clear acrylic box? Muji sell storage boxes in a variety of sizes, easy enough to drill some ventilation holes if necessary. Only cost a few quid too.

Oops, it was the hammond ones I was thinking of.

I think that the black versions look good. The paint is a good quality finish and hard wearing.

That was taken just after I did the cutting out of the sockets, so it was a bit mucky. It looks ok.
