I have a arcam alpha mcd 6 disc cd player that i turned on today and is now showing E7 on the display along with lots of interferance coming through my speakers even though cd player is not selected as source, must be at least 10 years old now so is it worth getting it looked at and where ( i live in newcastle ) or is it time best just to forget and replace, many thanks for any help anyone can give, jamie

Hi people, no panic as i have found error code E7 refers to a problem with cd loading mech, i opened mine manually and hey presto works fine again, just posted this in case anyone out there has or may have this problem on cd player, thanks jamie
