F1. Alonso Top Pole,

i wonder ilf MR HAM done the same i bet nothing would be said,,

On the contrary, Lewis's mistakes are always illuminated in such a way as to call into question his competence. There is little truth in that but I think the other teams have realised this is 'the button' to press to wind him up.

Oh and the eventual fine Ferrari received amounted to less than Massa reportedly gets paid per week. As unpleasant as things might seem, in the light of the maximum penalty possible Ferrari did precisely what any reasonable business entity would do when balancing risk against benefit. Having benefitted in the past from rivalry within teams, they have demonstrated they will not hesitate to ensure they:
A) Do not suffer the same fate.
B) Capitalise on any team that allows unfettered rivalry.

In short I don't like it, but I can see why they will do it.:(

Team orders have been around for decades. Does anyone remember Mario Andretti v Ronnie Peterson at Lotus? Or this:-

yes, first i saw the clip also the race in australia, as far schu is concerned he has always been that way, i miss a.sena
nando.

i think massa will get better and if he get's on first position he can beat alonso, but it is not up to him if he lags behind,
nando.

Now, this is what I don't understand about Senna. He was also very aggressive and as Brundle said he gave the other driver an option of either giving way or crashing. It would've taken just one more driver of the same attitude to race against Senna to ensure that he (Senna) never won the championship since they'd have crashed every time they met. Yet he's considered a hero, even though in his autobiography he actually owned up to deliberately crashing into Prost to win the world championship. Don't get me wrong, I admire his driving ability, but I'm just questioning the double standards in F1.

No, of late F1 seems to be of little interest here:(. Nothing to stop you starting one but it might be a tad late in the day:).

Hi Dev
