FA: Musical Fidelity Preampliier

I'd be carefull with the way you're advertising that. By all means using MF in the title, but would be careful not to break any copyright or trading laws.

and from the auction "Please ask nay questions you may have"

Thanks for that. I don't think there's anything I can do about either of those now because someone's placed a bid. It'll teach me to use a spellcheck!

Sure there's something you can do. You are allowed to withdraw the item at any time. It's your prerogative as seller. IMO it looks like you are selling a MF preamp, and it would be better for all if it said DIY in the title.

Have to say that it does look very misleading as nowhere does it clearly state that amp is home-built. Be careful or you could end up with one very dissatified buyer!

you can add to the item descrition and state that its not a musical fidelity as such, but uses musical fidelities boards.

If someone thought they were getting a genuine MF, that would be grounds to sue, which I am sure you don't want, so point everything out in an add to your item description, which it will allow you to do, if MF find out, they could well sue, as you are using their name.
