Well, the raw ingredients for a cake are cheap (relatively) but it is what you do with them that counts. Having said that, with gear of that market value, you would expect the very best of everything, wouldn't you?

Good thread that makes some valid points. We're too easily swayed by looks when it comes to hifi gear (and women).

The easiest way to blow tweeters is of course by clipping the amp.
Fixing that might be a tad more expensive for people prone to buying such ta^^^^ having such expensive tastes...
