Thanks for the heads up. Slight problem. I don't have a Radio and I'm not here today but I have a recording of the work my father gave me in an attempt to educate me. Still don't get Tippett.

 

With your new fangled electronics (squeezebox ?) can you stream radio from web through system ? If so you can always catch up here:

The Double String Orchestra concerto is pretty much the only Tippett I 'get' AFAICT, and it's got a particularly gorgeous bluesy slow movement. I'll be involved with putting on Child of our Time in a few months' time though - I'm quite looking forward to that as I've liked what little I've heard of it.
