"No one else was hurt but police have reported the Bugatti driver for driving without due care and attention"

So which Footballer was this then??

Hope he had more then 3 Party insurance.

Begs the question, why is just anyone with a big bank account allowed to just get in a drive these things.

I think you should have to take an advanced driving test to prove you can handle cars of this power, you have to for a bike so why not a car.

Car's like this don't belong here, take them over to Germany and let them kill themselves on the autobans.

No, I'm quite positive a Bugatti driver would have 3rd party fire and theft.

Didn't Clarkson say that each one of those beasts cost VW £5Milllion to build.

On that basis, looks to me like a >£500K repair bill.

Wonder how much insurance would cost for that thing, I remember on Top Gear while Clarkson was driving it, he tried to get a quote, they wouldn't insure it!

hehe, well someone will be feeling very ill tonight :)

tis what ya get when 'showing off' to your mates, in your new toy.

The paper i read this in said the bugatti driver was doing 100 on a 40mph stretch.

Twat.

Although I don't particularly like that car it is an amazing technical achievement. The traction control and anti-skid is very clever. There's a video around, on Evo I think, of the Bugatti test driver braking hard from 150mph on a bumpy road with no hands on the steering wheel ! it skids a little but basically adjusts itself to the changing grip level at an incredible rate.

What that says about this driver I don't know...
