My Epos 15.2's didnt sell on ebay and I need to sell em to buy my new ones. So first £300 buys em (plus carriage)
This is a defo bargain and even a possibility of making afew quid on them if you have time to advertise them properly.

I'm gonna give that a go this weekend. I cant get the hang of this ebay lark. Perhaps I should start them low and no reserve?
See what happens.

Leave it for 3 weeks or so, list at the minimum you're prepared to accept and they should sell.

If only I had £300. Put them on low enough so that people feel they may get a bargain. That's always worked for me. If the start price is high people seem to be put off.

I think ebay are in planned maintenance at the mo. I'll post it this evening when hopefully it'll be there. Sometimes they can take a few hours to list and i've only just done it.

I demoed some last weekend on the end of Naim amplification and they weren't too bad, although I wouldn't pay the £650 asked for them. At £225(ish!), that's another question.

I would be interested, but South Wales is a bit out of my way.

come on someone bid on them! steal at £225. I would but im saving up for a ferrari..etc

I'm still thinking about this. Apart from the location problem (although we could meet along the M4 corridor?), any comments on partnering them with my gear (but at that price I could also afford some serious amplification) in a room about 3.5m x 4m - there would be plenty of space behind them, although not much to the side (they would sit in a bay-window area)

BTW, maybe you missed the following, but if anybody complains eBay will withdraw your auction.
Amendment to eBay.co.uk Surcharge Listing Policy - 6th June, 2004

On Sunday, 6th June, 2004, eBay.co.uk will be amending its current Surcharge Listing Policy. eBay will adopt the following surcharging policy in the interests of ensuring that all buyers receive clear and accurate pricing information when trading on eBay.co.uk. This surcharge policy applies only to items listed on eBay.co.uk.

eBay will prohibit surcharging by sellers except where described below. Surcharging occurs when sellers pass the charges they incur for using eBay or third party services such as payment services onto buyers.

Specific examples are explained below for your guidance:

1. Electronic Money Services
Sellers who accept electronic money services as a means of payment for an item purchased on eBay, may not impose a surcharge. Electronic money services include, but are not limited to, services such as PayPal, Nochex, FastPay or Moneybookers.

This kind of thing can only be for the UK. Is it the same for the rest of the EU.? (extra cost)

Any way they will go on ebay. But leaving it for a week or two is a good idea.

Nope didnt missed it, just chose to ignore it. If people want to buy them at a bargain price I aint gonna pay them for the privilege. And in reality seeing as if ebay withdraw my auction they lose money I dont think they'll do it do you?

Ebay dont really need the money anymore. They run the show when it comes to all things auctioned. They usually take action now and ask questions later..etc!

E bay won't act unless they get a complaint. If they do they will probably pull the ad and threaten yout account with closure.
