    Hi all ,
I need an antenna / aerial for my Sugden R21, and live in a flat so roof / outside is not possible, i currently pull in R3 and R4 with just a piece of coax
I did think about the magnum dynalab whip aerial as i can hide it behind the curtain but any suggestions appreciated,
    many thanks

    Hi,

I've had good results with the Maxview Profile Plus, a small powered antenna, using two AA batteries. It does run through these quite fast, so I wired an on/off switch into the + lead. I haven't replaced the batteries in nearly a year

I'm using an old but delightful Rotel RT850L, BTW.

I expect the Magnum Dynalab would be good as well.

I didn't find either of the mains-powered antennae I tried worked all that well. They were tall and thin, rather like a rhino horn (no sniggering!). Seemed to add noise instead of reducing it.
