    I have access to £500 Yamaha GS sound cards and Creative Audiolgies at uni. The PCs have latest version of Adobe Audiology on them. That comp ties in nicely with one of my modules in sound recording.

    I may give it a go.

    I'm only doing the basics from the internet point of view, the course just covers digital recording and compression methods etc, how they work and stuff.

    Its not an Audio degree but I am studying Multimedia and Internet Technology but because sound comes into mutliemedia we have to study it. Its all quite interesting though even though we don't study at an advanced level you would have done.
