Forthcoming Planned Downtime - 20/01/2007

Over the next couple of days, I am hoping to relocate ZeroGain to a shiny new dedicated server, which will involve intermittent portions of downtime from now until Monday while database work is being undertaken.

I will keep you posted with progress, but downtime should be fairly minimal and not too disruptive anyway.

If you have any issues, drop me a line at [email protected], as our zerogain.com e-mails will have delays at times.

You will currently find the forums are running very slowly, this is due to the database running on a different server to the main site, but it means you can at least have access while I'm setting things up!

The site is now running parallel on the original server and our new server, with both using the database on the new server.

The necessary DNS changes have been made, and once they propagate, everyone will be accessing the site through the new server.

When your logo changes to the following, you are on the new server:

Once the DNS has propagated fully, I will update the forum software to the latest version, which will involve a short period of downtime, but I'll keep you posted.
