Consonance M12 horn speakers

Hi Tuga, interesting speakers that are just crying out to be mated with my single ended triode tube amps. How about shipping to Denmark ? Have you got the original packaging ? Is the price of 1650 GBP including the super tweeters ? and could you please send me a photo of the woofer with the damaged dust cap. Thanks in advance and best regards Jim

I hate to say it, but he one thing you've not yet gone for is a cheap package including the Super Tweeters and shipping. I bet they'd go then.

I'd have had them if I had the room mate, as at your fair price they are worth having. :)

I would sell them for 1800 GBP including the tweeters and the crossovers...
Considering the tweeters alone would cost 320 GBP I think it's a fair price.

Hi,

If these are still for sale I'm very interrested. Could you contact me with mail: @bitrace.fi

Thanks..

I do like these, and im oddly tempted, but id need to find a buyer for my focals first :S

im trying to find out more about these speakers, and their suitability for my room/amp :)

can you tell me more about them sound wise? what type of room do they need, what sort of sonic signature do they have?

Do they handle high volume levels well? (well.. high ish?)

where are you based?

Hello Shrink,

I don't really agree with everything this reviewer says but since I'm not very good at describing sound (who is ) maybe you could read his thoughts on the larger M-15s:

http://www.tnt-audio.com/casse/opera_m15_e.html

They do play loud and are an easy load.
For orchestral music they could do better, this is why I added the tweeter and I would rather have two drivers covering the <1000 Hz range as well. That's what I plan to upgrade to (4 way).
Bass doesn't go as low as one would expect from such big boxes but it's fine nonetheless. Great with jazz.
I live in Lisbon.

Cheers,
Ricardo
