Professionally modded (by Net Audio), Arcam Alpha 7 CDP - originally bought as a stop gap player but I liked it so much I kept it for almost a year! Mods: NET Audio MiniClock with its own power supply. The output opamps have been upgraded to Burr-Brown OPA2604s, their PSU pins decoupled with WIMA polypropylenes and the output coupling capacitors have been replaced with Elna STARGET audio grade capacitors. This produces pretty good sound quality.
