See http://www.monarchyaudio.com/ for details. (Select DIP button and then link for Classic)

Great little black box for improving the digital input to a DAC. Made a significant improvement in my system when I was using a DVD player as a transport, and when feeding laptop output to the dac. Redundant since I finished tweaking the bejeesus out of my PDS703.

Excellent working order and condition - there may be some very minor scuffs on the case but beyond the resolution of my eyesight. Complete with original box. This is a 110V model but I have a suitable transformer to go with. (It draws very little current so there's no adverse effect on performance.)

£100 inc. p&p and transformer.

Will put on e-bay soon if no-one here wants it.

Bump. If there's still no interest I'll put it on E-bay next week.

This is Monarchy's best de-jitterer for standard CD replay.

very good bit of kit. i use one between my meridian 200 transport and audio synthesis dac. smoother, with a deeper & wider soundstage than using the dac on its own :)

is it a reclocker?

Yes: from the Monarchy website:

"Its main functions:

Jitter reduction/signal conditioning
Signal Boosting(to 6 times higher)
Ground Isolation(to avoid noise/hum)
Format change(from Opto to RCA, from RCA to Balanced, etc)
Data Alignment (new data stream output)
The most dramatic feature is the Classic's built-in precision clock.
The original clock retrieved from the transport is abandoned.

A new reference clock is introduced to hold the sampling frequency at a precision 44.1KHz(standard CD format, hence the name "Classic")

This precision clock, at a strong signal strength, allows any conventional D/A converter to operate with far better precision and efficiency, resulting in higher definition, better instrument localization, wider and deeper sound field , and above all, more involving music enjoyment.

The DIP Classic accepts all 2-channel stereo signals, with sampling frequency from 32 Khz to 96Khz. The output will work with ALL D/A converters."

Sorry for delay in response - been away for the weekend:
