Koala CDP cost £1500 brought new from Croft case work in mint condition comes with box and manual. I wanted to future proof this player so managed to talk Bluenote into sending me a new one. As I am sure you know this is the main part that seems to go first on CDP after a time.
This CDP now has 5 power supplies which is pretty cool. All work on the tube output stage was done by EFG (London) LTD a specialist in tube equipment, re-clocking done my Trichord Research and all other work by Sercal Electronics. I have heard this player next to a Townshend TA565 Universal Player (£2895) and a Bluenote Stibbert II (£3500) which it out performs by a very large margin.
