One of my friends picked up a pair of cheviots of freecycle a few weeks ago. they needed new surrounds, but the cabinets were totally unmarked, brand new condition.
£60 later he has a great set of speakers, a little uneven in the mids, but they do so much so well you can forgive them that, especially for nowt.
