That's sad - older Saabs were individual and rather nice cars. I have had 4, usually as 'stop gap' cars, between alfas ;-)

An old 96 with the horrid Ford V4 (but comfy seats, column gearchange - fun! and quite good handling), a 900 low pressure turbo (fantastic car, good to drive, comfortable and surprisingly quick) and a couple of non-turbo 9000s.

Really sad day for me :(!
I've got a lovely '01 Saab 9-5, 2.3 turbo SE Station Wagon. King blue and camel leather. 190.000 Kms. on the clock and not a single problem. He likes petrol and tires and good quality oil every 10 k, and that's pretty much it.
He swallows miles on the motorway confidently and swiftly. Gonna keep it 'til he dies!

    Regards,

    Vincula
