Last time i looked easyjet had a sale on through the website, I got 2 return flights to Rome -£111.
Hotelclub.net - I got (again for Rome) 4 nights double room with breaky, £196. They cover most of the world for hotels.

thailand is a great place to go. flights can be had for about 500quid (or less?) return. and hotels are £2.50 and up. just tell a cabbie how much you want to spend and they'll find you a decent place. the krabi area is lovely although getting a little commercial now so i hear but if you go further south there are some unspoiled areas. avoid bangkok as much as possible if you want a city break go to amsterdam.
