In the latest of Hi FI Choice, Paul Messenger gives Green Mountain Audio's new Rio loudspeaker a 5 star rating, writing the following:
"This exceptional performer is way ahead of its peers in delivering a vivid and engrossing musical experience, so value for money is, therefore, unquestionably very high."
ââ'¬Å"Best of all is its exceptional speed and minimal time-smear, which brings a brilliant immediacy and tight, solid focus to the reproduction of instruments and voices, creating vivid dynamic expression and an unusual degree of realism. It's all very realistic, as is that most difficult of tests ââ'¬â€œ single speaker mono.ââ'¬Â
Paul has identified the capability of this speaker really well and his review explains the physics contributing to its distinctive sound quality.
The full review has been posted online on the Techradar site.
The Hi Fi Choice review of Rio follows on from a very positive review of Green Mountain Audio's Eos in Hi-Fi News April issue.
We have both Rio and Eos, plus the floor-standing Calypso HD, available for demo and purchase.
