is there anybody in there?
Oh to be in that position! The only way I could use 'snowed in' as a legitmate excuse for not going out would be to be found where I had fallen trying in the spring thaw!
It's nothing to do with my situation at home - the snow isn't actually that bad (I'm near Bristol). It's the bunch of wusses I have as customers. When they don't work 'cos of the snow, they can't break anything for me to fix. I suppose I'm more snowed in by proxy, than actually snowed in, if than makes any sense.
IMO, that's the problem. Teachers should give them a damn good thrashing, not leave them alone. Setting a good example by keeping the schools open in bad weather would help as well.
Tell that to the parents who would cry "negligence" at the first playground fall or compacted snowball hitting their child................
